Biscuit Economy: F2P vs. Premium Pass
The total Biscuits available to purchase with Sleep Points also differs depending on whether a player is F2P or Premium:
- F2P players have access to 30 Poké Biscuits monthly from the Regular Exchange for 150 Sleep Points each.
- Premium Pass players have access to an extra 10 Poké Biscuits for 100 Sleep Points each and 5 Great Biscuits for 400 Sleep Points each from the Premium Exchange monthly in addition to the 30 Poké Biscuits monthly from the Regular Exchange.
There's a 25% chance to receive a Poké Biscuit (or other goodies) from the Daily Gift in the General Shop.
Typical Catch Frequency: F2P vs. Premium Pass
Pay attention to your Biscuit expenditure! Consider allocating Biscuits to spend during Events with increased spawn rates.
- F2P players have access to a 3 pip Daily Bonus Biscuit and can expect to catch Mons every other day on average.
- Premium players have access to a 4 pip Daily Bonus Biscuit and can expect to catch Mons every day on average. Of note, if a player logs two sleeps, the first sleep will count as the primary sleep and award a Daily Bonus Biscuit. The player will not receive a Daily Bonus Biscuit on their second sleep.
Notable Biscuit Mechanics
There are two baseline mechanics to be aware of:
- After feeding a Pokémon its first Biscuit, there is a 50% chance of it becoming "full" with each subsequent Biscuit fed.
- There is a chance for Biscuits to "crit" upon feeding a Mon. How do we take advantage of these mechanics?
What About Shinies?
SHINIES ARE A GUARANTEED CATCH WITH A SINGLE POKÉ BISCUIT.
- DO NOT MASTER BISCUIT A SHINY.
Seeds
Main Skill Seeds (MSS) & Subskill Seeds (SSS) gained per month differ based on F2P or Premium status.
- F2P players gain ~0.5 MSS a month & 5 SSS lifetime.¹
- Premium players gain ~1.5 MSS & 1 SSS a month.¹
Strategies
The following content contains subjective advice or recommendations. Please take it into consideration and make your own decisions based on your playstyle and goals.
MSS Strategies
New players gain several early-game MSS.
- Rewards taper off & availability becomes scarce. Only use MSS on Mons worth investing!
- Plan accordingly: Skill Mons need 3-6 seeds for max Main Skill level. Do NOT use MSS on NON-Skill Specialists in the early game.
SSS Strategies
Only seed permanent Mons with a strong preference for the following order of priority:
- Ing Mons: IFS → IFM
- Skill Mons: STS → STM
- Berry Mons: HSS → HSM
- Ing/Skill Mons: HSS → HSM Always ask if unsure! -# ¹ Event Missions/Rewards & Developer Gifts increase lifetime average.
Mint Strategies
Neutral Mints change a Mon's Nature to Neutral. These are an extremely limited resource with only 2 available. They're likely obtainable again in the future, but this is not guaranteed.
- Do NOT use mints to remove minorly inconvenient Natures.
- Only mint if there's a significant impact on a forever Mon's output.
Handy Candies/Dream Shard Clusters Strategies
Use S as needed (i.e. need candies/shards for leveling or to free up inventory space) and save M and L for rare species/higher RR.
Incense Strategies
Use cases include but are not limited to:
- Legend + Luck Incense on Sunday during Shard boosted weeks
- Legend + Friend Incense to gamble on hungry Legend
- Incenses on Monday-Wednesday to mitigate poor early week spawns
- Growth/Focus Incenses on Sleep/Research EXP boosted days
- Recovery Incense to clear Incense Missions during event weeks
